I wanted to do this project while I was watching Supernatural as it was airing in 2017. I was also thinking about the fact that it will end on some point. It never came into fruition, but will share it still.

Road So Far (or Wayward) – A Story Artbook is a non-profit project collecting together the work of fandom artists and writer/s.
The idea is this. It would be an SPN art book but with only one theme. This would need only 12 artists (for now) to be asked to participate if they want to. Each artist would make an illustration/fan art to 3-5 pages that has story poems that follow the Carry On Wayward Son season finale “Then” montage.

The SPN Artbook will consist of 13 chapters, each representing a group of characters from the show. The chapters are:
Chapter 1-15: Season 1-15 Road So Far story and art
Season title cards on the cover and full page image of Sam and Dean and Baby (fan art)
First page has the word THEN
Last page has the word NOW
1 season for one artist (3-5 pages, story is written in the middle with different typographies)
That would make 60 or so pages in total + the character and finale image art
For example Season 1 – Penultimate (exception)
Making fan art from the clips used on the Carry On Wayward Son montage
1 writer writes the text for all seasons
Small things escalated, when baby rested on her bed,
Fire changed everything and arms of the big brother…
The poems ends up to words: Carry On My Wayward Son every time. Writer also needs to add the dialogue to the story if the montage has some.
Chapter 13: Season 1-15 art (Characters and finales, keeping it canonically correct)
Characters can be drawn in a scene or with other characters, like Sam with Sarah Blake etc. You can combine also characters like Ellen, Jo and Ash. Mary Winchester on the ceiling etc.
Artists also can choose a character that is not on the list if they wish. Only main players are listed from season to season.
Finale scene would be prefered to be landskape.
